现在完成时引出“刚刚发生的背景”
I have just moved... 不是主线动作，而是故事开场背景，说明说话人刚搬来，对街坊人物还不熟。
相似句：
- She has just started a new job.
- We have just arrived in the city.
一般过去时按顺序讲一连串动作
knocked, asked, stood, sang, ate, drank, put, went away 这些过去式把 Percy 的整套表演和讨要过程讲得很清楚。
相似句：
- He opened the box, took out a letter and smiled.
- The boy ran in, sat down and began to cry.
ask sb. for sth. / give sb. sth.
本课里 Percy 向“我”要东西，'我'再给他东西，正好构成索取与给予的一组基本句型。

call at + 地点
He calls at every house... 中 call at 不是“打电话”，而是“到访某地”；如果后面接人，通常用 call on sb.。
