定冠词the
（1）定冠词the不论指人还是指物、单数还是复数，其形式都不变。 （2）the的发音：the在辅音前读/J+/，如：the floor, the table, the bed, the desk; the在元音（即一般前面用an的词的首字母）之前发/J!:;;;;:/,如the engineer, the ice cream, the old man, the open window。当我们想使听话者非凡注重the后面的名词时，the就读为/J!:/，意思是“这一个而且只是这一个”或“主要是这一个”。 （3）the的基本用法： A the通常有明确的所指（即以说话人或听话人已知的人或物为前提）； B the可与单数可数名词、复数可数名词及不可数名词（总是单数形式）连用。
