A thirsty crow

I'm a crow. It is hot and dry today. I'm thirsty and tired.

There is a bottle. It has some water in it. I'm so thirsty, but I can't drink it. The bottle is too long and thin.

Here are some pebbles. I have an idea! One, two, three ... Great! Now I can drink the water! I'm so happy!

be 后接形容词描述人的感受或状态。

例：I am thirsty. She is happy.

Would you like…?

用于礼貌地询问对方是否想要某物，some 后接复数或不可数名词。

例：Would you like some water?

读写提示

  • 描述感受时先回答 Are you…?，再说明具体原因或需要。
  • 形容词前不要误加 a，如 hungry、happy 都直接放在 be 后。
