Oil recycling program Barbados. Students at Lester Vaughan secondary school collected used vegetable oil from their homes and communities. They turned the used vegetable oil into biodiesel, an environmentally friendly fuel for diesel cars.
Air pollution youth mappers program Mongolia. Teenagers from Mongolia are actively involved in dealing with air pollution through data collection.
They aim to record the harmful effects of air pollution in their communities. Students create digital maps of the most polluted areas in the community.
The teenagers also spread the message to their peers, teachers and parents about reducing the harmful effects of air pollution.
